Myth: Doing crunches will give you a smaller tummy.
Truth: No, no, no, for the umpteenth time, no. Please stop buying the latest ab machine and stop doing a million crunches a day. Okay, working your abs makes it stronger, but you absolutely cannot pick and choose where you lose fat. Generally you burn fat everywhere not in a specific place first. You simply cannot target one place to burn fat.
P.S. The healthy goat was last seen at a gym in Astoria, headbutting people in the stomach while they were doing crunches. For some reason it didn’t help.
