Myth: Lifting weights makes a woman muscular and bulky.
Truth: To build muscle there are two basic ingredients required. The first is lifting heavy weights and the second is consuming a large amount of calories. So even if you’re lifting heavy you will not gain muscle unless you “eat like a champ”. If your diet is the same then you’re more likely to become stronger (up to a point) and more toned. Also women simply do not produce enough testosterone to support this.
